Boundaries serve to indicate and protect what is within a limited area. For example, the walls and roof of the house we live in protect us, and our possessions, from the weather and from others. We define boundaries around what we have in order to have their ownership made clear, and to make them distinct from the ownership of others. These indications are there to make differentiations in the vast space of energy. Our energy is bound within our bodies, and although we know that energy expands in different ways, basically we are limited by the space our body occupies.
