When we truly accept ourselves, accepting others becomes easy, Often we may find it difficult to resonate with other people due to certain qualities and behaviours they demonstrate. This can generate negative feelings, like irritation. However, other people in this situation are only acting as our mirrors. They are merely reflecting what we don’t accept in ourselves. When we can’t validate or accept ourselves, we also begin to seek this validation from other people. Seeking this validation externally, however, causes us to expand our energy needlessly, and give our power away. Once we become aware of and accept this, we may begin to heal.
